Joe Nguyen

Joe Nguyen's inevitable path to comedy began in 1983 when he was born in the state of Georgia to a Vietnamese immigrant and a white Jewish woman from the Dominican Republic.  At some point after moving to California for college, he developed a sincere disdain for nonsense that is best captured by jokes. Despite being atypical in so many
ways, Joe appeals to a plethora of audiences with his likeable stage presence and smart writing.  Joe won the 2009 Russian River Comedy Competition and is a regular at the SF Punch Line comedy club as well as the Clubhouse, where he is the producer of a successful weekly showcase on Friday nights.
